With the generous assistance of the Middle East Studies Association (MESA), AMEWS members can now donate to AMEWS and receive a tax deduction for their contribution. Receipts are provided by MESA. Below is a step by step guide to follow to make your donation:

 

From the MESA Homepage, click on the “Donate” button at the top of the page:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On the Donate page, please add in your personal details at the top of the form:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At the bottom of the form, locate “Association for Middle East Women’s Studies” and add your donation amount:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once you complete the form, hit the submit button. You should be taken to MESA’s payment page. In the text box (as shown), please make sure to add “AMEWS” as a note – this will allow MESA to properly distribute funds to AMEWS.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alternatively, AMEWS also has a PayPal account through which individuals can submit non-tax deductible donations.  Note that if you go this route, AMEWS cannot provide a receipt for tax purposes. Please enter the amount, hit “Pay Now” and follow the instruction for payment, which will go directly to AMEWS.
