We are pleased to announce that a new issue of the Journal of Middle East Women’s Studies is now available online! Volume 14:1 features three original articles, including the winner of the 2017 JMEWS Graduate Student Paper Prize, “Cruising Baghdad: Desire between Men in the 1930s Fiction of Dhu al-Nun Ayyub.” The issue features beautiful cover artwork by İz Öztat, film and book review essays, an interview with Jasbir K. Puar by Kathryn Medien, as well as special collection of essays in honor of miriam cooke.
