Marcia C. Inhorn of Yale University was awarded the 2014 AMEWS Book Prize for, The New Arab Man: Emergent Masculinities, Technologies, and Islam in the Middle East (Princeton University Press 2012). Farha Ghannam of Swarthmore College was awarded 2014 AMEWS Book Prize Honorable Mention for, Live and Die Like a Man: Gender Dynamics in Urban Egypt (Stanford University Press 2013).
